Alfred Perez is the founder of Alfy's Foundation. Alfred was born in Miami, Florida, and attended St. Thomas Episcopal for elementary and Belen Jesuit for middle and high school. Alfred received numerous awards for his leadership skills, work ethics, academic and athlete achievements, and for his devotion and commitment to the service of others. At a young age, Alfred felt compassion, empathy, and a need to make others feel accepted, appreciated, loved, and supported. Through soccer Alfred has traveled the world interacting with others, experiencing diverse cultures, while extending a hand to those in need. At age 10, while representing the United States during Danone's Nations Soccer Cup, in Madrid Spain, Alfred initiated a clothing drive to provide soccer players from other nations less privileged. Alfred serves as a mentor to young children encouraging them to follow their dreams and to do well in school. Alfred has fundraised thousands of dollars for the National Kidney Foundation for those with kidney disease. Although, Alfred continues committed to the service of others, his passion for children, without  parents, inspired him to the formation of Alfy's Foundation. Alfred is currently a professional soccer player and continues to remain faithful to his philosophy, "if you can help someone why won't you."

Alfy's Foundation was founded on January 1, 2022 by former Harvard Student Athlete & current Professional Soccer Player Alfred Perez.

Ever since a young kid I have considered myself extremely blessed and highly privileged. I've always cherished the strong relationship and guidance that my parents have offered me - it has molded me into the person I am today. Unfortunately, not everyone shares that same experience. In many cases, some people never even get to meet their parents - which is where the motivation for this project began. As I thought about how impactful the guidance of my parents has been, I felt determined to impact those living a different experience.

Founded by Alfred Perez, Alfy's Foundation is a passionate and voluntary non-profit organization committed to being a beacon of light in the lives of orphans. Our unwavering dedication lies in transforming their world, one heart at a time.
